Cable too short
I have ordered many of these cables and I recommend them to friends. I ordered this cable for a friend and it is too short. It is about 12 inches long. Previous cables have been twice that length or longer. The image alone of the cable reflects a longer cable. They make great cables and the quality is exceptional but the blew it on this one.

All band vertical antenna 80 - 6 meters
Owned one before. Destroyed inhurricane Ian. Replaced it and recommended to two friends who bought one. This one is for use on my RV. I will buy another for my condo. I use it with an LDG TUNER WITH MY Yaesu FT897D. In my condo my TXCVR is Yaesu FTDX1200 with MFJ993B tuner. Used with no radials. Good performance.

Bottom line is...it works well and meets and exceeds my expectations.
2 von 5 finden das hilfreich The radio performs as expected. The all band coverage in one small package is very convenient since I have relatively little space allocated for amateur radio. Initially, learning curve seemed steep but with time I was able to learn the menu system and become comfortable with the radio. The quality of the design and construction is excellent and I have not had any problems with the rig. A tuner is absolutely required for HF applications. Various forums highly recommend the LDG AT-897 Plus tuner. There are a wide variety of accessories and options available on E-Bay for this radio so any owner can tailor the radio to meet the expectations of any user. The signal reports received for this radio have been excellent both for the quality of the signal and for the accompanying audio signal in all modes of operation. I used the radio with the free download version of Ham Radio Deluxe to provide convenient PC control via the CAT cable interface. I also use this radio with FLDigi, another free download for PSK-31 and other digital modes. This radio is extremely flexible and seems to be the perfect solution for a wide range of applications. Bottom line is...it works well, meets and exceeds my expectations and is widely available both for parts and service. It works.
