Carry on Constable
This is classic Carry on at its best.
All the elements of the best Carry on Films are present and correct.
A screenplay by Norman Hudis(who wrote the best films in the series -in my view).
The marvellous regular cast members and fantastic guest turns by Leslie Phillips-Ohhh I say - and the very glamorous Shirley Eaton-before she was spray painted by Goldfinger.
The older movies like this one still had nudge,nudge wink,wink humour but because the double entendres didn't go too far the films still be enjoyed by the whole family together, without embarassment or embarrassing questions!
The more recent films are good too but definitely for adults only.
With the exception of Emmanuelle and Columbus which should be viewed by no one!!!

Carry On Again Doctor (DVD )
Carry On Again Doctor is a later enry in the popular series of films.
Featuring most of the regular cast members:Sid James,Kenneth Williams et al.
In keeping with the less censorial time then at the cinema the film is a little more overtly 'naughty' than earlier films however the trademark seaside humour is here and present as always.
The plot is ludicrous,but as usual is just a framework in which to fit in as many double entenres as possible in 90 minutes-ooh Matron!!
Not the best of the series then,but eminently watchable for fans and is like Citizen Kane in comparison to the dire ...Emannuelle and ...Columbus which eventually sank the series without a trace.

Bought ones just like this in The Range,but they did not have Black.
