Zildjian Dave McClain Artist Series Raw Finish Drumsticks
    19. Feb 2016
    heavy and perfect
Ordered these to learn rudiments, become more a wrist player. Too old to pound it out. Nice sticks, a little longer, fatter, and heavier than 5b. very heavy on ends, perfect for double taps, and fast sounding rolls. One hand roll off rim sounds full and consistent throughout. Excellent bounce back. Opened a whole new door for me. Not for pounding it out [I.M.O.], fatigue in forearms, feels like breaking through. Excellent for controlled flam and roll effect. I would of preferred smooth finish, raw offers a lot of grip with not much movement, even when I want it. Still getting used to them, I like them fine. I recommend these for practicing doubles, triples etc., you know rolls sound fast, arms barely moving. At this price why not learn a new style? Or if you're 23, hammer it out and sound HUGE! I've only practiced with these so far.
RCA Optical Toslink SPDIF Coaxial Digital to Analog L/R Audio Converter Adapter

    This worked
It done exactly what it says. My tv has no audio out, new blue ray only has hdmi out, and this as audio option. All in order now. I would buy again, but I'll research more and should never have to.
New Pyle PMX402M 4 Channel 400 Watts Powered Mixer w/ MP3 USB Input DJ Pro
    11. Mär 2016
    Small but BIG
This Pyle powered mixer is perfect for the living room player, several inputs to accept 1 rca,1 mp3/computer, 1usb, 1 sd mem card. 4 mic./inst. I worried about the mp3 in balance for full range signal to power amp, not anymore. I use this as a pre-amp only, with whatever in, I use effect send to line in on mega amp 800, Driving 2 large cabinets, 1x15 and 12" piezo horn each. I can play music and guitar together to learn/practice, this robs some out power from mixer, with out mega amp it wouldn't light up these cabinets, {1200 watts @8 ohm]. But i'm sure it would sound great on it's own with lower wattage speakers, it puts out 120 watts at 8ohms. 200 @4ohms. Works fine in living room. My on stage rig is this: guitar into zoom multi-effects with it's pre gain low,[Pyle takes only 10db in before clip]. Zoom out to inst. in gain about half, here is where all equalizer and effects are added, I set master out to 80% watching for clipping on power amp, I use effect send to Peavy 400 monitor head, it has 2 outputs, one to my monitor cab., one to a cab BEHIND all other sound. from here I mic that to main mixer and on to power amps. I like the sound I get from it, I get best tone at low watts, and mic it up. My pre-amp died and this came through in a pinch. 119.00$ all I could afford, worth every cent so far, I will use it more at home, as I want more watts on pre-amp for stage. I'm the only signal in and out, Not sure how say 2 mics and 1 or 2 guitars would do. I would want a power amp also! If you use a power amp in chain, always use effect send, bypass mixer power amp circuit, as that could damage amp. Or you could use a "power brake".Watch ohm. load to not damage Pyle. Cranked all the way for at least 3 1/2 hrs, I saw no ohm draw to concern about. This seems like a well built unit, knobs and e.q. slides are tiny and want a soft touch, rest seems solid. I've been very careful as I have no back up. If I had more $, would have got 800 watt, trying to bypass mega amp, 400 not enough to cut through. We play hard rock to metal and it provides that gain type distortion I like, as a pre amp I can do it at low watts and mic when needed. The Pyle produced warm sustain with a little zoom, got just the sound I needed. I will replace it as soon as I can for gigging. Keep it in home. While I thought it sounds great at most levels, seemed to lack power of 400 watts, my peavy is 400 and I can hear a difference. The Pyle sounds better, Peavy gets louder. I have no way to measure, so that difference is why it got a 4, other than that I have no problem recommending it, for the above set ups, however I don't know how it would do as a stand alone mixer. The usb sounds same as rca level wise and has a lcd type menu to page through, still figuring out mode button, think it's for searching usb drive, and haven't tried card reader. I have no complaints at 119.00$, and would buy another, perhaps more wattage. I hope this helps.
