Great kit and easy to install but you will have to pay the dealer to program your truck's computer to activate the option.
10 von 10 finden das hilfreich I have a Ram 2500 Laramie. The Wiring harness that runs from the front of the truck to the back was already there so I did not have to install that one. All I had to do was install the two lights, drop their wire down and plug them in. The preexisting wire harness had covers plugged into the sockets I had to remove before plugging them in. It took me longer to gather up the tools and figure out that I my truck was pre wired for these lights than it did to install them. After I had them installed I had to take my truck to the dealer and have him program my truck so it would activate the option. That was $70 extra.
Bottom line, if you want this is an option order it when you buy the truck. It is about $100 extra. If you don't have it and want to add it this is the kit to get. Don't forget that it will take a trip to the dealer to have them reprogram your truck to accept this option and that will be an additional fee. Shop around because not all dealers charge the same to do this..

similar but not the ones pictured.
I bought this set specifically because in the picture they posted the two hinge points are threaded just like the ones i am replacing. The originals have 1/4 x 20 threads where I can mount a guard to keep my dog from opening my camper shell. The ones they sent me do not have these threads. Instead they are filled with what looks like plastic the same color as the latch. Not at all what is pictured.
