Wish I'd had this years ago
Brass instrumentalist for over forty years. This book covers a lot of ground in a very understandable (and eye-opening) manner, but only to a narrow depth (understandably - there's no way a book-sized resource could do more). i see it as an introduction to topics for further independent research, which is how I'll be using it.

Very usable and convenient
I wanted at-hand readers to stick on my Kindle case, and my pre-purchase concerns were:
1) If the case would be so thick as to be cumbersome (nope, the case is about 3/16" thick and 2"x3-7/8" and includes a strip of double-stick tape)
2) If the readers would uncomfortably pinch my nose or be too tight to move closer to my eyes (a bit tight initially, but either they stretched or I've gotten used to them, because I barely even notice them now)
Thinking about buying more "just in case" sets to slip into the car, musical instrument bag, work bag, etc,.

New "Very Old Stock" works great
Drop-in replacement for the F14-124-1 in my house's 1950's heater Fan Control, and instantly resolved the "fan won't turn off" issue.
