This is a perfectly capable chair, good width and comfort. The legs do not lock, but are more than secure for the purpose it was designed for. The person complaining of it 'collapsing' must have all the grace & poise of an elephant seal?
Value and quality fall right in the midrange area being neither good nor bad.
I have had chair for some time now and used it almost daily so this is a genuine review.

Smart filtering
Have used K&N air and oil filters on motorcycles and cars for many years now, always with nice results. Made my 'fly by wire' electronic throttle on my car feel more 'connected' and gave a smoother pickup at lower rpm. The changes are subtle but make a nice upgrade.

MK2 vers is terrible
I had an original vers, it was excellent. Had charging diode that showed item working and prevented reverse charging at night. It lasted 8 yrs.
This MK2 vers has no diode and after 18 months has ruined 2 batteries. When checking item it was generating in excess of20v! (off the scale) Face down it was producing 19v!
It cannot be relied upon, fails in its purpose and can creat a far more expensive problem.
Should NEVER have changed original concept.
Bit if a shocker for a Sealy product.
