Excellent printer marred by a few QC issues. Hard to beat at this price.
Compared to my Anet A8 this is a much better printer. 24V psu, rigid frame, more potential etc. After a bit of sorting (more on that later) it also prints better than the A8 (Which now has a titan extruder and V6 hotend). It is also quieter than the A8 and prints faster (for less degradation in quality).
As such I think it is excellent value for money and I would recommend it, but with one caveat.....
Quality control.
I had a number of issue out of the box....
- Z axis homing position was unreliable (cheap microswitch)
- a number of wheel bearings notchy (cheap bearings)
-adjustment of wheels poor, some loose and some too tight.
- bowden tube not secure in the fittings (chep tube and fittings) causing big extrusion problems.
-cooling fan failed after about 2 hours of printing (cheap fan)
and a few others I have forgotten ;)
All this added up to me not being able to get a decent print until it was fixed.
As you will see, I keep on mentioning cheap and I think this is where the problem lies. Reading around plenty of others have this problem and it ruins the out of box experience. If creality had charged £10 more they could have significantly improved their QC and made this an awesome printer, not just a good one.
All that said, I still said yes to it being good quality, it might have its issues but overall I think it is well designed and will work well.

good quality and value
Perhaps not quite as good quality as others I have (eg lindstrom) but at half the price of lindstrom they are much better value. Much nicer to use than the £5 cheap tat I have had the misfortune to use.
