Pricey but high quality. I love them!
Hipshot makes great, high quality tuners. The BT7 is a bass de-tuner that I use on my E string for drop D tuning. The only downside is the price. It's hard to hold it in your hand and see 80 bucks laying there, but hey, they're quality! And you'll probably never have to buy another one.
Just a note... I've got a $200.00 Indonesian Squier and a $1000.00 MIM Fender. The BT7 is a direct fit for both. The screw holes aren't perfectly lined up but close enough that it doesn't matter.
