Inexpensive but still maybe not worth it
I generally do not like inexpensive electronics that need calibration and batteries that’s why I bought this, however this is super cheesy. I decided to keep it because it’s so inexpensive, I’m using as reference before and after trigger jobs but if your looking for exact measurements you will be disappointed.

Great alternative to malice clip
Used these on kywi mag pouches attached to belt, easy to install and when woven through Molle properly is very tight. They come in different lengths, on these pouches used 3 inch.
