Afghan Ideas
Vanna's Afghans All Through the House is a good pattern/idea book. Most of the designs are easy to follow along, while a few more challenging ones are mixed in to keep the veteran crocheter interested. However, some of the pattern instructions aren't crystal clear, and you have to work them out to see how they go, but that is the same with all of them! Overall nice book, clear pictures and good ideas.

Most over looked item under hood
I have a 1975 Chrysler that has a carb with divorced choke. This is exactly what I needed. The one that was there was 40 years old and had some corrosion on it which caused it to stick. This made the butterfly in the carb not open properly. Since I replaced it, only took 5 mins., the car runs great and the engine now idles smooth with little or no hesitation. I would recommend changing it on your car regardless. Over time they start to bind. Just remember to get one for the specific carb you have,

Nifty little box....great size for sockets and wrenches!
I was looking for a little companion box to go with my larger 4 drawer tool box to hold sockets and the ratchet wrenches I frequently use on my car. I was frankly tired of dragging out the heavy 4 drawer one to the driveway! So what I did was get craftsman drawer organizers and cut them to fit the bottom of the box and have all my sockets neatly lined up for me to use Half of the box I made SAE and the other METRIC. Very handy. Easy to carry and the snap on the lid stays shut. Well made and sturdy and affordable!
