Good product, inadequate packing
The mesh itself was of top quality, however it was packaged in a soft envelope and arrived crumpled into a ball. I am still trying to flatten it out.

Wire conductors are undersize
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The wire is conductors are significantly undersized. Measuring the entire length gave a resistance of 3.2 ohms which is about twice what true 18 AWG wire should measure. It should work for most low current applications, but I would not recommend it for long runs or the rated current for 18 gauge stranded wire (4.9A) and limit its use to its more correct 22 AWG 2.1 A.

Good tool for hobby users
This tool costs a tenth of what the comparable tool from AMP costs, and will produce good crimped connectors, but it is finicky and slow. For hobby users where time is not an issue it will work well with practice. I would not recommend it for a production environment as it requires careful manual alignment of both the pin and the wire, and has no provision to hold either in place. This makes it slow to use, but a great value for occasional use.
