Modesty and Willie are an awesome team, great stories and way ahead of it's time with the woman as the leader and the man as the henchmen.

Small Favor, by Jim Butcher
It was the last of the Harry Dresden novels and I did not have it. Anyone who has read all but one of a series of books and really enjoyed them all know what a powerful pull that creates. I had looked in all the local bookstores for it and could not find it and there it was on sale in Ebay. I was able to get it for about the same as the paperback would cost when it came out in paperback but this was the hardback. To make a novel into a short story I bid, I won, I got it and then I read it. Now I am hoping he writes another one as it is an excellent fantasy / mystery storyline, full of interesting characters, overlapping plots that still stand on their own and a consistent world setting.

My Man From Uncle, season 2
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich When this series first came out James Bond was "The " spy. He was however British. The Man from UNCLE provided Americans with their own spy hero. Mr Solo and his partner, with the UNCLE organization provided sharp international stories with Thrush villains for us to boo. Gadgets abound, pretty women too. Stories were simple with only an hr and the idea of a 2 or 3 episode story-line had not yet occurred to producers, but they were fun with shootings and car chases every week. Lots of guest stars many who were big or would become bigger. "The Man from Uncle" is hard to find in any season and often not at all cheap. If you enjoy spy series and find a season of it you do not have, at a good price I recommend you snag it before someone else does.
