Some of the Best
Sturgeon's Law, which he expressed in response to a fan who got in his face and declaimed, "Ninety percent of science fiction is crap!" was, "Yes. Ninety percent of everything is crap." ALL of Sturgeon's science fiction, fantasy, and musings on just about any subject fall well outside of that ninety percent. Anything Theodore Sturgeon wrote is well worth reading, and re-reading, and re-reading.
Sturgeon expanded the title story of this volume into his novel _More Than Human_. Even in its short form, it is a jewel.

The girl with/who
It's a whodunnit. Normally I'm not a fan of mystery novels, but these are a rare exception. I saw the movie first, and felt compelled to read the book. Incredibly for Hollywood, they stuck almost perfectly to the book, which is why the movie is so good. I finished the dragon tattoo, and am on the second book, and neglecting nearly all else. It is to be heartily recommended.
