Givi Engine Guard

The guard is still a good (not great) quality overall although the 2 halves of mine did not line up properly (placed side to side the bottom mounts were displaced nearly 1/2" from one another. I also had to grind back part of the weld on one of the sides in order to mount the front of the guard b/c the weld prevented proper alignment and the 2 pieces couldn't be bolted together. I managed to work around these issues and the guard is mounted and looks good. For the cost of Givi products though, I would have expected quality control to be better.

A Great Addition to the Tool Box!

Over the years I have owned many used vehicles and Hayne's Repair Manual(s) have been invaluable in helping me maintain, diagnose, and repair my vehicles. I am not a mechanic but their clear instructions and pics have helped me each time. I recently purchased one for my Dodge Ram pick-up and, with several hundred dollars of parts ordered on-line (for a fraction of the cost quoted by auto part stores and repair shops) and a little time, patience, and elbow-grease, I was able to save nearly $2k all the while gaining critical experience.
