A great Book for any Duplicate Player who is willing to work a little to get better!!
William Root is a great author. I have read through his "How to Play a Bridge Hand" and think it is best such book since Watson's "Play of the Hand." Now I am working through "How to Defend a Bridge Hand" and it is also really good. I am not a novice, and have been playing bridge a long time, and have won 12 ACBL tournaments, but this book and the "How to Play" book are really good learning tools.
I highly recommend this book to any duplicate player who wants to get better.
Finally, my copy came with almost no markings in it and was in excellent shape. A great value for the dollar.
