Pleased to have the parts and a friend with the right machines for drilling it.

I was disappointed with the machining marks. There were more by the time I finished drilling the screw holes.
It is important to drill these with a vertical drill press using a collet adapter and #54 drill. We ended up using a syringe to lubricate the drilling with water using a not-fast (but not super slow either) drill speed. It helps to feed the drill in small steps withdrawing the drill between steps.
It is recommended to use a "centering" bit to start the holes. I used a 4-40 tap as it had the best machined and true point.
I removed some marks with 400 and 600 wet sandpaper. I used a fabric wheel and a plastic polishing rod (brown) to load the fabric wheel.
