Pretty effective for cat who doesn’t like to be groomed
My Tabby queen has VERY dense fur with a thick soft undercoat. As a rescue she does not like being handled and this includes grooming. Moulting can take a long time without any brushing with the coat coming out in clumps. She did not like the metal comb I had previously and would run away when I tried to groom her. SO this is great as she will tolerate grooming of up to 5 minutes at a time! The brush part does most of the work drawing the undercoat out quite effectively and has definitely helped. Pulling masses of fur out of the brush isn’t great, but the fact she allows me to groom her at all is, quite frankly, a miracle.
