Nice mix of musical styles and artistry- very rewarding
I bought this one on impulse. I am a fingerstyle player that enjoys dabbling. Tom Ball is a supremely talented player that shares his thoughts and talents through a well written and very nicely tabbed instructional songbook. The CD is worth listening too on it's own. It's on my IPOD, right along with Jack Johnson and John Mayer. Nice to have that CD to refer to. Med and journeymen skill levels OK with this one.

Honeywell Lyric compares well to NEST, for a fraction of the cost
I've had these thermostats for about a year. These (I have a two zone AC/Heater set-up) little thermostats are really cool, and work flawlessly. Programming is easy. Set-up and wi-fi connection was by the book and simple. GREAT bang for the buck. Really modern feel, easy and quick on/off for manual operation, and super accurate temp control. My AC guy was very impressed. Would have cost me an arm and a leg to purchase an equivalent NEST (or another inferior thermostat) through him. This Honeywell Lyric is a gem. Easy wire for wire install to replace the crappy units I upgrade to just a few years back. And my home is a larger dual zone gas heater & elec AC installation - a pricey 4200 sq ft house in So Cal. I am particular about how thing work - but like a deal. The Lyric thermos were a steal.

Very good Ceiling Fan/Light Remote option
I'd recommend this unit. After purchasing and installing this unit several months ago as an upgrade to older remote for use in our master bedroom, I purchased another for a second bedroom ceiling fan upgrade project. I found the instructions good and the installation simple in both cases, despite limited space in the fan base for mounting the receiver electronics module. The remotes work very well to boot. I am hooked on the idea of a magnetic based wall mount holder for the remote as well - beats the heck out of a hook or loop based holder, I can tell you. Cool features include the ability to handle dimming of either incandescent or low power (LED) bulbs (a switch in the remote). Also cool is the delayed "off" exit button and "vacation mode" light on/off switching feature.
