1/6 hp pump
Ordered pump a few weeks ago, finally got the chance to use it the other day. It's used primarily for water removal from the pool cover. I've had a few utilitech pumps over the years. Last one was a 1/6 hp also which Iasted about 8 years. This one is the replacement model and I feel the quality has definitely gone downhill. The construction seems not as durable as the last one and the water flow from the last one was more powerful...again, both are 1/6 hp. There was also a screen over the impeller that blocked more debris from getting into it which lacks on this new one. Overall, it performs as expected but only time will tell how long it lasts.
