Good charger
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Has multiple charging modes so you can prolong the life of the batteries, each cell can be charged separately which is great as each cell is individually discharged, charged and kept charged if necessary. Has useful display and takes AA as well as AAA. You really don't need anything else. The build quality is "medium-high", the PSU being the most worrying part but the cable is short and thick indicating that someone actually designed it to "work" and not to "sell". So yeah - I recommend it.

Disappointment when it comes to connecting it all up
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich The 105DZ uses 12V batteries and is not compatible with 18V batteries. It doesn't come with power supplier either, so you gotta either buy an 18V to USB adapter and a separate USB to 105DZ cable or an adapter... Overall given it's a laser you use when you work on something - they could have made it compatible with 18V (especially that they have to step down from 12V to 5V anyway) or offer an optional version of the product with all the USB malarchy included. What was really annoying though was the fact that when you buy the 18V to USB adapter - you still need to buy the USB 105DZ cable separately - and that is roughly £20 at the moment... £20 for a cable... Overall I now have a contraption of the laser + stand + cable + battery adapter + 18V battery... Should have gone for the more expensive option - or different brand...
