...1966 Batman is finally available on DVD. It only took about 50 years to get it released! Not only a great lesson in character acting, but a great cinematic history lesson. Every time my daughter and I watch an episode, we go online onto the Batopedia and look up the characters. Wow Eartha Kitt (Catwoman) sang that version of "Santa Baby", Burgess Merideth (Penguin) was in all those movies. Tallulah Bankhead was a total bombshell in her day. Plus tons of campy acting from a show I never realized was a comedy when I was a little kid.
The Swedes know how to design stuff. Just need 'murcans smart enough to figure out how to use it. It lets me make a lot more cuts with almost no effort. I don't have to keep moving the wood around like you would with regular sawbucks. So much safer than working on the ground.
These seem sturdy, but I haven't assembled them get because of a design flaw. They are made so that the bottom couple of inches will fill up with water and leave the end grain of the 2x4s soaking. Other versions of this product have added a rubber ring at the top which won't solve the problem. Water would still get in, but evaporate even more slowly. I will drill a couple of exit holes in the bottom or in the bottom edge of the sides, then add a little something to boost the 2x4s up a half inch.
