Good trailer connector

I chase this partly on price and partly on the reviews. The plastic moulding is good. The contact pins are good heavy duty brass. The contact screw clamps look like zinc plated steel so corrosion is inevitable. However this is only the 3rd connector on my trailer in the past ~30 years, so on average I expect it to last 10 - 15 years

Form fit and function are good.

This is not quite identical to the original battery. It has a more matt surface finish and the behaviour of the charge status / charging LED lamps is a bitt different. However it is rated at a higher capacity (2.0 Ah compared with the 1.5 Ah of the original.) . The mower is ~4 years old now and the original bettery was begining to show loss of capacity. For a starter battery capacity is not really the issue, but the number of starts/charge was degraded so it was time to get a new one. On Value - the jury is still out - only a long term usage can really show this - but I now have the possibility of getting the old battery 're-celled'.

Easy fix for broken Hetty vacuum cleaner.

It seems to be a manufacturer original part. Soldering quality looks good and the connector spades appear to be good quality. This was going into a farly old 'Hetty' machine - bright pink with 'happy eyes'. The PCB layout on the old board was a bit different, but the wire colours matched the wiring guide supplied with the PCB. Installation was a breeze - re-assembly of the machine was a bit tricky but I used a short piece of sellotape to keep the felt support collar together while sliding the motor back into its housing. Machine now works properly.
