Fun science book
Great book about the way machines work. It has clear illustrations to explain the concepts. The story line takes on the point of view of man capturing a mammoth in the first pages and continues using the mammoth throughout the book to illustrate the concepts. It makes it entertaining and fun to read. My 12 year old son loves to read it! I can even understand it and enjoy reading it when I look at it (his non-mechanically minded mama:)

An Apple a Day gives a little encouragement each day.
I love all of Karla Dornacher's books! Her illustations are wonderful. The text is uplifting and encouraging. I would reccomend her books to everyone. This particular book has a short spiritual reflection for each day, along with a Bible verse and a short prayer. The book is designed to use for 31 days of devotional time with God.

A Christmas companion
I love all of Karla Dornacher's books. This one is a great addition to any Christmas collection of books. Her illustrations and text complement each other wonderfully. I would reccomend her books to everyone.
