Sturdy and reasonably priced
These are sturdy and reasonably priced stands. If you don't like the look, cover them with a cloth. They hold a great deal of weight, far more than just speakers.

Sadly a little too narrow to make a proper fit.
It's just a little too narrow to be the replacement I hoped it would be. Otherwise it's well made, and looks like the Manfrotto original plate. When I use the red knob to tighten the plate to the tripod head, it doesn't tighten fully as is needed, and the plate and camera slide back and forth as I tilt. NOT GOOD! I don't have this problem with the original plate. I sorta fixed it by adding a thin strip of hot glue to the side of the plate to make it just a tiny bit wider, and this works. The hot glue (now cold, of course) will wear off when you least expect it, so wedging paper then may work.
