Okay starter guitar
I'll be honest, I spent more having some of the minor issues fixed than I did on the guitar itself. The 1st thing I did when I got the guitar was tune it using Rocksmith for the PS4 using headphones. When I took them off and played each string open I didn't hear anything but the tone of the string, but once I put my finger on the fretboard & played I could hear the string buzzing against a fret or 2 down the fretboard. I then removed the strings and did the Sharpie Marker test & confirmed my suspicion that the frets weren't even heights so I stopped there, packed everything into the included bag, & took it in for repair. Having the board sanded to make it even, pickup height adjustments, as well having the tone & volume connections re-sodered cost me $5 more than I paid on eBay for the entire bundle. Did I have to do that? No, but I wanted a cleaner sound out of my new bass.
Is this guitar worth the price as is? Yes. I just chose to spend a little more.
