Polk Audio R30 Main / Stereo Speaker
These speakers are the truth! I'm an audiophile and I have been considering the Polk R30s and the Sony 8" 3-Way(SSF5000). I have a Sony home theater so I was going to keep everything consistent and go Sony. Let me tell you something, Sony is a great company overall but these Polk R30s did it for me. The R30s are heavy (good cabinet quality) well tuned port and balanced frequency wise. Not mentioning they're are good looking! Powerful, even at high volume they hold their own, crisp highs and deep bass I didn't expect from the 6" woofer. Count on deep bass down to 45Hz...not bad, just add a decent sub to cover the 20-45Hz range if you must. Over all a great buy if you find a deal on them BUY them quick!!

small, cheap, needs a little dampening but good value
Its a good box for those limited on space, if you dampen it ( carpet underlay foam works well ) it sounds great. There will be some chuffing at more than 150 watts. Basically the specs on the box better suit a 8" sub so if you dampen it of limit the input it should work fine. Its not the best quality but the price reflects that
