Very flimsy, not sturdy

I was looking forward to a lightweight hi-hat, but this one is not solid. The connections are loose making the unit wobbly and the whole design is unstable. I have been playing drums for over 50 years, and have used many different hi-hats, and this is the shakiest hi-hat I've ever played on. If the manufacturer used a similar design as the old Slingerland or Ludwig hi-hats using aluminum they would have a better hi-hat.
