Worked like it should.
In mho, when changing an Amer or a Mex Strat pickguard chose an OEM product. Having used several off brands whether they were cheaper or more expensive, more issues like holes not aligning came up on them as opposed to using a Genuine Fender made product.

Good stuff.
If you're using a genuine Fender pickguard use genuine fender pick up covers. I've found that using some aftermarket covers, tend to be a tighter fit (the covers were slightly thicker) and thus they made precise height adjustment of the pickups difficult. Plus the Fender OEM colors match up better to your original Fender stuff when replacing only a few parts. Knobs are better made and the volume/tone letters dont look like they were painted on by a 4 year old!

Guitar Sounds great again!
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich This was a direct replacement for an existing fat 50s mid pickup that was bad (low volume). So it had to be reverse wound with reverse polarity for the humbucking feature. This new pickup made the fender strat sound like new again.
