Amazing game from the golden age of 3D platformers
If you love 3D platformers a la banjo-kazooie, spyro, and crash, you will love this game. Controls are crisp and responsive and gameplay is varied and compelling. The graphics are dated and locked in 360p but the fantastic art direction more than makes up for it. Sound design is also on point with a soundtrack far above the standard set by other games in the genre. The HD remake is apparently air-tight and worth purchasing, but the original disc is more than serviceable and a great collector’s item.
