Planes to model
If you love weird and unusual aircraft then the Focke-Wulf Fw-189 is the book for you. It’s an ugly yet beautiful looking aircraft which fits the purpose it was built for! If you are an avid r/c modeler there is a set of plans for this plane on E-Bay. Show up at the flying field with one of these and you’ll be the hot hit of the runway! Not only is this book useful in building it but it’s an educational read to boot! I highly recommend this and it makes a great addition to your aircraft book collection.

Cox glow plug adapter
A real handy item to have when you’re at the flying field. Nothing’s more bothersome than a burned out glow plug when you want to go flying. I rate this as a must have item for all 1/2A fliers.

Blackhawk ME-262 Storm Bird
This is a take on the old Scientific model aircraft. They are a joy to build and detail. They’re more than fun to fly. I was very lucky to get one on E-Bay. If the chance to get one, take it. You won’t regret it!
