Sony Projector
When we built our deck, we wanted it to become like a room addition, a place where our family would spend time together, and where we could entertain friends. We don't have a pool, so we decided to have backyard movie nights, and
began looking for a projector.
Since our "screen" is a tan stucco wall, and light levels vary greatly, we did not feel that a 1080 native resolution unit was worth the extra cost. This model is 768 and had been discontinued in the summer of 2010, so it was fairly current and very cost effective.
We have been thrilled with the picture quality and the ease of use. Even in twilight, the picture is sharp the obvious flaws in the stucco wall disappear completely when darkness falls. Halo takes on a whole different feeling when the characters are life size, and movies and ball games are alot more fun on the deck.
The downside to this unit is that it doesn't have built in sound. We have a receiver and speakers that we set up for surround, which is great for movies and games, but built in sound would be more convenient for watching things like ball games where sound is not so important.

Simple Portable Amp
I have greatly enjoyed this amp. It is small, lightweight and simple to use. It produces very good sound and the batteries last for much longer than I would have ever expected.

Samson G Track Mic Novice User Review
The sound is very clear. I am a novice user and it is very simple to use. I have another mic that I thought was pretty good, but this is much better. I use Audacity and this requires much less effecting to make it sound natural. I couldn't say it was light weight because it is very solidly built and therefore a bit heavy. Not a problem. The only down side of this particular one is that it was open box and the cable is bad. I had another that works, but it's not as long as the one that comes with it.
