Solid kit, adjustments a bit tricky
Was given an old, non-working Bolens trimmer that needed a carburetor, so I purchased this kit. Everything assembled easily and fit correctly. There are two adjustments on the carb- low and high, which are turned with the tool included in the kit. Getting these settings between the low for idle, and proper tuning for open throttle has been challenging. Once started, the unit performs great, but starting take a lot more pulls and adjustments to the choke than anticipated.

Save a few bucks and use this kit vs new starter
No need to replace a working starter when you just need a new starter gear and bendix. This kit matched the starter components on my Briggs and Strattion 28C707 and works as expected. The challenging aspect to putting this kit on is replacing the c-clip. Use a 3/8'' socket and tap on to make life easier.
