Great Way to Learn Math
The life of Fred is a great way to learn math by a reading approach. I have a child who struggles with math. We have tried on line learning, visual math curriculum, but nothing seemed to help. Then the Life of Fred was suggested. My child begs to read this series of math between other subjects. My child is now able to do basic mental math. We started with the first book Apples and are reading the whole series. The neat thing about the Life of Fred, it just doesn’t teach math. It incorporates a lot of other subjects through facts. There are not a 100 math problems to work, like some other curriculums. That works well for us because my child learns best by reading or hearing. We do abide by Fred’s rule that you must work the few problems he gives on paper before looking at the answers. Been the best choice for us by far.
