Do it!
Had one of the Halogen bulbs in a set of four go just before Christmas. These are great replacements, a lot less heat, a more pleasing colour temperature and colour rendering. Add to which the whole system uses 20W instead of 200W to illuminate what is a relatively dark kitchen at this time of year.

DIY solution - better than some pros.
perfect - low cost solution to fixing a watch that even local watch shop could not fix. Good nylon discs make for zero damaging of the watch case.

Is it a bird, is it a plane, no, it's an old Skoda!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I drive an 11 year old Skoda Octavia estate with metallic silver paint. I am not a car snob (clearly) but I do like to keep things in good order. Not that I do it to inspire envy in my neighbours who polish their 1-2 year old Volvos, BMW and Audis regularly, but I do enjoy the fact that my 140k miles on the clock car shines better than any of them. "Superior beading" has become a stock phrase in our house on damp days.
