Very much worth the price. Plus if you drop one and break it you're not out $60
A nicely made and expensive set of whiskey glasses. I was the considering purchasing a set for myself after I got some for a friend. They're that good

A good idea, but do your measuring before buying
Two things to carefully consider when buying this: (1) The post hole width, not every Gretsch electric base has the same post width (2) Bridge height: This will not work on a Gretsch Jet style guitar without some grinding, due to the naturally low bridge clearance. That said, with a little time on a grinding wheel I have it fitted well onto an aftermarket base I had to buy. Expect a little loss of sustain as compared to a bridge with more angular bridge string supports. Very comfortable on the hand as compared to the Synchromatic bridge. I suspect on a Gretsch hollow body it would work like a charm without modification.
