Ring alarm is a great system and monitoring is super cheap compared to other brands
Super simple to set up and the app makes it pretty much dummy proof. The monitoring is WAY cheaper than almost all systems. I would recommend this to anyone. If you have more Ring devices, such as Ring doorbell or cameras, they can all be linked together and controlled from one place. Very well executed app and device management.
The only negative that I hope ring fixes with a firmware update is that while there are five different chimes to choose from there isn’t a audible alert telling you which door has been triggered. It just has one of the five chimes. If you can remember which chime you set up for that specific door then it won’t be a problem. I just liked my old system (ridiculously overpriced system and monitoring) that would say i.e. “ front door open”.
