Hurts my ear, doesn't connect well to iPhone for Skype, dangling cord is terrible,

I really wanted to like this and I really needed a solution for my Skype calls, but unfortunately this product does not fit the bill. After about 30 minutes my ears start to hurt a lot and it doesn't switch easily between my laptop and my iPhone (although that's exactly what the marketing promises). It also picks up's signals from the iPhone and continuously makes mysterious noises while I'm connected via USB to my laptop. The headset tends to slip and doesn't feel comfortable on my head. The cord is also a big problem it never seems to get out of the way because of the bulky controller in the middle. The bottom line is, I would not recommend this headset.
