No failure here!
This is a really good album. It truly is a shame that JCS (along with Local H and Marcy Playground) don't seem to get the recognition they deserve. All the songs here are fun and rocking. The only thing I find to be on the weak side of tings, would be the cover art... They could have found something better, in my opinion. If you're a fan, check this one out! It was impossible to find in the city I reside in, so your best bet may be online.

True Believer!!!
After hearing Testament's previous album, "Demonic", I wasn't sure what to expect from them. Or if I'd even enjoy it. Demonic was a little too close to death metal for my taste. But, The Gathering is classic Testament! One of the best metal albums to come down the pipeline in a while! Great album from a great band!!!

Abrasive.
Very abrasive, very brutal... very Awesome!!! Check it out. I especially like the song "Rude". Bought it, mainly cuz I want all of the Helmet albums.
