A great outcome to a long sought after battery. Awsome.
Many years ago, I was looking for that battery with no luck. I basically gave up looking for it. Then recently, my son sent me the link to the seller of that battery. I figured I'd give it a shot. After charging the battery and installing it in the drill motor, the drill motor came to life for the fist time in 25 years. I'm glad I made the purchase.

Flags or OUR fathers.

After reading it, I now know a lot more of what my dad experienced as like Doc Bradley, my dad was there also and somehow managed to survive. And like Doc Bradley, my dad very seldom talked about it. A number of quotes in the book did hit home as I remember my dad saying the same things to me as a little boy. It has to be at least 50+ years ago, I can see it in my mind as if it were yesterday; We were all seated at our dining room table and he said; "Teddy, the real heros never made it off the island".
I'm glad I made the purchase and feel very enlightened after reading it. I would highly recommend it to anyone who had a family member in that battle.
