Good Ram, Great Price

This RAM is suitable for intel processors, and will give a new lease of life to older hardware. At 800mhz speed DDR2 it isn't as fast as DDR3 or DDR4 but it will get the job done, and done well. These newly manufactured (NOT refurbished, but batch produced as new items) dimms are excellent value, they perform well, and will revitalise an older optiplex work station or DDR2 Personal Computer. The standard packaging is great, and you won't find genuinely new items like this elsewhere for such a great price. The RAM is well manufactured, sturdy, well soldered and weighty, the chips are all quality components, and the RAM runs very well with no noticable latency (Lag). Being a low profile design these modules will fit into any case design or motherboard layout with ease. I cannot fault these sticks of ram at all, especially considering that most systems using DDR2 type RAM are going to be used or refurbished computers, and spending a great deal of money on used or refurbished componentry is almost pointless. All in all an excellent product that fits the needs of the market and users alike perfectly.

Good in a bind, but a "real" replacement will be better

This was an absolutely necessary replacement, however it is of marginal quality. The samsung logo has been painted over which immediately gives away that it is no longer factory. The digitizer is slow and can't do multiple screen touches. This makes typing a laborious process as the screen often doesn't register presses meaning skipped letters and far slower typing speed as it can't keep up. The original screen is OLED, however this replacement is not. As such the screen appears washed out as black colours are not displayed with an inactive pixel (zero light) but with a colour combination of active pixels. If you really need a replacement then please go for it, it is better than a broken screen, but if your screen isn't cracked or damaged then save your pennies for a proper repair.

Great but aging, go for a 2nd gen i5 if you can but this will revive a 775 system.

A great old CPU, it will bring new life to the socket 775 systems struggling on core two duos. It is very much in it's twilight years, but will still handle esports titles at 720p and 1080p on low/medium settings. Socket 1155 intel chips like the i5 2400 are the newer q6600s, so if you're looking for a long lasting system get one of those, but the q6600 will surprise you.
