Pleasant to touch, lovely to work with!
Best quality terracotta clay! It's air drying, so no need to fire pieces, and very versatile! Instead of thinking in terms of just pots, bowls, cups etc, think more of unusual beads, interesting pendants! No end to the creations that can be made of this clay! The only limits are your imagination!

J.L.L. power juicer is absolutely fabulous!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this power juicer as a gift for my son this past christmas - he'd been wanting one for ages, and I saw a very fine opportunity to own one, so I jumped on it immediately. we use it several times a week, and have really enjoyed some wonderful juice concoctions :) I just can't say enough about this juicer. for sure, everyone should have one :) the only downside, if you really want to call it that, is the clean up afterwards - it's a little involved, but this is really such a small thing, that I'm sure most people won't mind that, not when they see and feel the benefits of not only juicing, but making their own nut, grain, and seed milks too :)

A retrospective trip back to a better time in life.
I bought this dvd after seeing a documentary called "Dogtown and Z-Boys". If you have any interest at all in skateboarding, how it all began, its roots and those who changed it, making what it currently is, then this is the film for you.
Though it briefly touches on all the members of the Zephyr Skate Team, its main focus is around Stacy Peralta (Powell Peralta Boards/BonesBrigade - of Tony Hawk fame), Tony Alva (was number 1 in the world), and Jay Adams, the one who set the standard for the movement and brought previously untried manouevres to skateboarding (and is referred to as the spark that started the movement).
It touches on the lives of these young boys, their struggle with living in Venice California, their relationships with each other as well as their mentor Skip Engblom, and several others who came into their lives. It's set in the late 70s and early 80s, so the soundtrack is absolutely fantastic with the likes of Black Sabbath and Ted Nugent playing along, as well as good ol' Neil Young.
If any of what I said here has managed to spark your interest, you won't be sorry upon purchasing this movie. These boys will manage to wrap themselves around your pinky finger, guaranteed. Happy Trails.
