Better than Kodak Vision Film
Awesome sauce, way beyond apple sauce! Lol! I already had an 8k version (Ninja V+) and needed a 4K version for a B-camera to record ProRes RAW. With the latest firmware upgrade, that bumped it up to a 5K RAW recorder. Super worth it for the price!
For people that complain about gear being too expensive these days, you have no idea what we’d spend on 16mm film and processing back in the days of film school. The $400 I spent for this recorder would have only bought me a 10min 40sec reel of 16mm Kodak back in the 90s. And now I can record an “infinite” amount of footage with 12-bit depth and wider dynamic latitude for the same price. Crazy
