Cheep Cheaper in Bulk.
These peanuts are exactly as shown in the picture and the birds love them. They keep a long time (in a clean, dry, dark, plastic dustbin in the garage, safe from vermin) so I save a fortune by buying a year's worth at once. Works out less than £1/kg.

Our Dyson's becoming like Trigger's Broom. Eight years old and many repairs.
Genuine part. Seems to have been modified compared to the one that failed, which is usually a good sign. Had it for some time and still working well.

Fantastic stuff if used for the right kind of job.
I love this stuff. It's not just glue: it's a strong, waterproof structural filler; like expanding foam, but tougher. I've used it to repair shed doors and weatherboarding. My latest use is to repair the tops of fence posts that are starting to rot where water gets in and the birds are pecking out beetles. Often this is because the preservative treatment only penetrates an inch into the wood, and this bit was trimmed off the post by the installers. On a dry day, I squeeze out some Gorilla glue and let it seep into the holes and cracks. By the next day, it has expanded and crept into every gap, seeking out the moisture that causes the rot, but also helps it cure. The expanded glue looks like an alien fungus has enveloped the top off the post. I trim off the excess with a hacksaw and then I rasp the last few millimetres until they are flush with the square section of the post. The yellow colour doesn't look bad (it could be painted) and experience has shown that it weathers to a grey-brown anyway. It's quick and easy and extends the life of the timber by years.
