Excellent "Fantasy" Adventure
This is an excellent and compelling fantasy/steam-punk/mystery/adventure. The author is trying to develop a non-Tolkien fantasy realm and he largely succeeds, though I must admit that despite very much enjoying the book, I find the prose somewhat strained at times (& there is the odd grammatical error). The author feels the need to go out of his way (rather obviously) to impress upon the reader how politically corrected his worldview is. These moments of cliche seem distinctly out of place and strained, but as I cannot object to their content, only the seeming "look at me" motive, the offending passages do not detract from the book overall. You really ought to give this book a go.

Scandi Chic
These are easy to install, well constructed from solid wood & are quite stylish. I recommend them for a contemporary/mid century look.

This crude budget "craft" version isn't even worth the manufacturer’s RRP£10 price.
This is the basic model Le Creuset spatula spoon (£10 RRP - "Craft" series). I haven't bought one directly from Le Creuset's website, so perhaps the one it sells are superior, but this model is woefully inferior to the £19 RRP "Professional" series model. The handle is fine, if a bit crude, but it does not stay firmly in place & the silicone end is chunky, crude, thick with a rough seem along the edge and to top it off it absorbs scent in a very unusual and rather repugnant manner. It's an altogether unacceptable tool at even £10. In my opinion it is far preferable to pay the extra £9 and get a well engineered "professional" series model.
