B+W filters are the best. I believe if you have good lens, you should put the best filter in front of it. I only use B+W filters on all my lens.

One of Nikon’s best lens

The 50mm 1.8 is a wonderful, sharp, fast focusing lens. Better then the more expensive 1.4. I highly recommend it to all Nikon shooters.
