excellent value

I was going to replace the V brakes on my sons bike with cable operated disc brakes but found that decent quality mechanical brakes were at least as much as these hydraulic ones. whilst these lack some of the adjustment options of the more expensive disc brake sets; they are more than adequate for my sons school bike. In typical Shimano style they just work which is all I want!

Good, but may not fit standard bottle mount positions

Been using for a month now and all good. One thing to bear in mind is it is( I suspect) designed as an OEM part for manufacturers so it has three mounting points. The two upper ones probably won’t fit most frames bottle mounts (I had the same issue on all 5 frames I tried it on). It wasn’t a problem for me as I had to build an adapter anyway as my frame has a curve to it. It did fit with the battery mount turned around but meant that the battery was only being held in place by the lock pin and not gravity plus the cables were then at the top!
