works great with a minor adjustment

Okay, I was thinking...oh no...not another bummer blade assembly as it was SO tight trying to even turn it manually. Then I read somewhere you can actually take these apart. So I did. To my surprise there was one little tiny piece of plastic interfering which I removed. Now it works GREAT, no problems. I wish I would have kept my original blade assembly and tried taking that apart. Oh well, live and learn. You CAN take these apart on your own when they start acting up. I also run lukewarm water in it with a drop of dish soap after each time I use it. Keeps the blades working freely. Read that too and it works. I love hacks.

Great little fryer for 1 or 2

Works great, easy to clean. Once oil is cool I dump it through strainer lined with cheesecloth and put oil back in it's original container. Or you could stick the fryer oil bin on it's own in the fridge. Doesn't take too much time to get oil up to temp. Easy enough to stow unit away when not using. I find it holds enough food for 2 - 4 people. Depending on what your frying. My fries came out aweson, onion rings not so much. I'll have to try breaded mushrooms next or homemade tater tots.
