This reel is awesome for using at the beach where sand get in and kill the reel, so far no sand , even dunk in sea water to get sand out out of reel still work, luv the reel.

Okuma, it was worth it, but now.

This is really good reel, can’t wait for more deal to buy. I bought the 3000 and 4000, used it for salmon fishing, the reels were smooth and easy to use. It was worth it.
