Perfect e-reader.
I own the very first Kindle with the keyboard and I was going to buy a Paperwhite but found the Oasis at a really good price. It is virtually perfect for me as a reading machine. I like the buttons which supplement the touch screen; the weight and size are fine and the whole experience is terrific. I haven't had it long enough to assess battery life but if this is extended by the cover I will be more than happy

Fun features
Worked well out of the box and decorates our Christmas tree with a less traditional look. The remote sems to work well although our cat is currently restricting full use of it by chasing the train.
