Beautiful melodies
I was a novice to Weber..found copy of the symphonies..great.i had heard some overtures on collections,wanted more.this release is so pure,melodic..just uplifting.this German radio orch.sounds so rich,talented,tradition steeped.get this cd..its a gem

The best
Parrott and Rossi were the greatest rock n roll team ever..driving guitars,tasteful drums,killer harmonies..just fantastic..no,this is not their early boogie stuff but that classic sound is there.great selection of covers played with power.thank you gentleman..i treasure this recording

Stunning
I admit..
missing the boat on Schubert symphonies other than 8,9..this collection is fantastic. 5 is just beautiful.the Dresden and blomstedt..so good.i have their complete beethoven symphony also.another great one..still. treasure the wand and Weller too.sound on the schubert so rich and clear.go get it.
